1.) Peace Building Coordinator
Locations: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe
About You
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience providing technical guidance and training within the peacebuilding, conflict management or similar sectors
- Extensive understanding of working on issues related to conflict management, conflict sensitivity, community-based approaches, awareness-raising, and development of policy recommendations
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience at the programme implementation level
- Demonstrated experience ensuring conflict-sensitive programming at the programme implementation level
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- The ability to translate develop realistic strategic plans that shape programming
- Experience coordinating across departments and sectors at field and country office levels.
- Experience designing and delivering training of trainers (ToT) sessions
- Experience designing and/or managing the delivery of MEAL plans
- Successful experience with fundraising
- Experience with the liaison with donors and Government authorities
- Experience in working in complex and politically-sensitive contexts
- A team player – able to demonstrate a constructive, cooperative and problem-solving approach
- Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Calm and diplomatic in nature;
- Ability to manage competing priorities and to meet deadlines;
- Effective team-player – problem solver;
- Experience with UN cluster system;
- Experience in accountability to beneficiaries and communication with communities;

2.) Protection Coordinator

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology; Development Studies or a related Jamb Result
Experience:
- At least four years consistent and demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of multiple projects in at least three of the following program areas: child protection/ psychosocial, mental health, Gender Base Violence, Education or any related program area.
Competencies:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strategic analysis skills
- Team building
- People management skills
- Decision making skills.
Salary
Negotiable, based on experience.

3.) Education in Emergency Program Coordinator
Locations: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe
Qualifications / Experience
- BA / BEd Degree in Education and other relevant fields of study and over 3 years relevant experience.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an international NGO or similar organization.
- Knowledge of policy and practice in the field of Education/EiE Emergency
- Computer literate in word processing and excel packages.
- An understanding of child rights and their protection and fulfilment in the development context.
Qualifications / Experience Desirable:
- Knowledge of international standards notably CPMS, SPHERE, INEE and the Red Cross / NGO Code of Conduct
- Good understanding of emerging international humanitarian issues and aid effectiveness
- Good understanding of the external operating environment, including government policies,
