1.) Security and Safety Analyst
Location: Borno
Required Skills and Experience
Education and certification:
- Master’s Degree or Equivalent, preferably in Social Sciences, Management, or a related security and safety field.
- A formal multi-year education in Security and safety Management, such as military or police senior Command and Personnel College (minimum 9 months’ full time) qualification, with command experience at senior level, is considered equivalent to a Master’s
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant security and safety and development related experience (2 years if applicant is in possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant security and safety field).
- Budget management experience as it relates to field support is desirable;
- Experience of conducting security and safety risk assessments as integral part of operational planning and the enabling of operations is desirable;
- Experience of disaster and/or conflict surge support is desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Hausa is required
- Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish).

2.) Executive Assistant
Location: Abuja
Education and Certification
- Completion of secondary education is required;
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is an asset.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience with administrative, secretarial, or program experience;
- Experience in the use of computer applications, software packages such as Microsoft Office, and web-based management systems; is an asset;
- Experience in the use of a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required;
- Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.

3.) Programme Manager, Humanitarian and Disaster Risk Reduction
Location: Borno
Required Skills and Experience
Education and Certification:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Human Rights, Gender, International Relations, International Development, International Law, or other Social Science fields is required.
- A First-Level University Degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the Advanced University Degree.
- A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in designing and managing humanitarian programmes, with a particular focus on gender and protection in emergencies;
- Technical experience in inter-agency coordination, preferably protection cluster coordination, and/or ProCap/GenCap in a natural disaster setting;
- Experience in policy analysis and strategic planning;
- Experience working with, and building partnerships with governments, donors and civil society organizations internationally and in the field;
- Experience working with the UN is an asset; and
- Experience working in the region is an asset
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable
- Knowledge of Hausa is an asset.
