Solidarites International is a French humanitarian organization that provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For over 40 years the association has focused on meeting three vital needs – water, food and shelter. SI is present in North-East Nigeria since 2016 and is currently operating in 4 bases across Borno State (Maiduguri, Monguno, Ngala, and Dikwa) with outreach capacities across all BAY States through its emergency component. Currently, SI carries out emergency/post – emergency programs in WASH/FSL sector in North-West Nigeria where limited actors are currently present.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Water Analyst Officer
Location: Borno
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- HND / B.Eng in Civil and Water Resources Engineering, B.Sc. Geology, Laboratory technology, Water Resources Development or in one of the Civil Engineering disciplines of water supply and/or Hydrology, Hydrogeology.
Professional experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in water quality analysis, water quality laboratory operations; knowledge of Water sector activities and Cholera response.
- Past experiences in WASH project with INGO/NNGO, government or private institution
Languages:
- English mandatory and at least local language widely spoken in NE/NW is an added advantage.
Technical Competencies:
- Understanding of Hydrochemistry, Water Quality treatment, Analysis, reporting and database archiving;
- Understanding of Water Safety plans, Practical experience in conventional and Mobile laboratory techniques; wide grasp of conventional laboratory apparatus and equipment and reagents;
- Computer skills;
- Good understanding of the link between Water quality and Hygiene.
- GIS mapping and experience with Wagtech Lab Technology is added advantage.
- IT skills: Good knowledge of office Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Personal Qualities: Coordination/collaboration skills, Excellent Leadership and Interpersonal skills, details oriented and ability to work with little or no supervision, Excellent planning, team player, Commitment to work, integrity, Team spirit, Ethical behavior, Time consciousness.

2.) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Activity Manager
Location: Borno
Profile
- Education: B.Sc. Finance, Economics, Business / Public Administration, or related degrees. Master’s Degree will be an added advantage Languages: English compulsory (Hausa – Added Advantage)
- Professional experience: 3 years of relevant experience (NGO / Private or Public sector) and 2 years of progressive experience in an INGO preferably in MEAL
- Good knowledge of MEAL tool development, data analysis and experience of team management
- IT skills: Good knowledge in KoboCollect or similar applications, Excellent knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
- Personal qualities: Rigorous, organized, able to manage important workload, good learning capacity, good communication, reactive, team spirit, assertive, attentive to details, resistance to stress.

Location: Zamfara
Profile
- Studies: B.Sc. in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management or any related field
- Experience: 3 years’ practical experience in a similar position with other INGO.
- Languages: English and any local languages applicable to Gusau
- IT: Good Knowledge of MS Office Word, Power-Point, and advance MS Office Excel knowledge.
- Quick learner, Ability to work autonomously, Excellent organizational skills, Flexibility to meet deadline, Hard worker.
