1.) Accounts Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Ensures that costs / expenditures and revenues are properly captured.
- Reconciling stock utilization.
- Prepares weekly creditors and debtors schedule.
- Prepares report of daily bank lodgments and bank balances.
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing budget forecasts.
- Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities, and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensure that there are no Debit entries in the Bank Statement not in the Cash Book -All Payments should be processed into the cash book.
- 100% generation of report with accounting software.
- Ensure petty cash requests are processed and posted with established payment terms and policy.
- Ensure funds availability for all cash operations by showing the true picture of all our accounts till date, No incidence of cash-out, Prepare document and ensure adequate cash at hand.
- Ensure efficient filing system – all documents are appropriately filed, all files are indexed and properly arranged.

Salary: N50,000 monthly.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with a minimum of 5 years work experience.

4.) Legal Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- It is highly essential that the candidate has a Strong Litigation background to be able to maintain relationships with external solicitors and management of the company’s numerous litigation portfolios.
- It is essential the candidate has a good knowledge of the Nigerian Petroleum Industry Act and Agricultural Laws.
- Drafting, vetting and preparation of routine contracts pertaining to property, license, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property rights etc., vetting tender documents, handling arbitration matters and civil suits before various courts of law should any arise and co-ordination with law consultants.
- Drafting, vetting and preparation of MOAs, MOUs, Bank guarantee, Indemnity Bonds if any, Undertakings and authority letters, vendor contracts, legal contracts, briefs, deeds, leases, JVAs, and other legal papers.
- Review of Agreements and provision of legal advice and opinions to Management Prepare and draft all legal documents and agreements relating to ICNL’s operations (e.g. supplier contract, insurance contracts, employee contracts, service level agreements) for the Managing Director for review.
- Provide company secretarial services – attendance of board meetings, keeping of minutes, board resolutions and filings with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Attendance of court proceedings and liaison with law enforcement agencies.
- Provide useful inputs in the formulation of deals and contracts.
- Prepare all relevant documents needed for filing statutory reports.
- Assist in obtaining and renewing statutory permits from NPA, SON, MAN, NIMASA, NEPC, COREN, etc.
- Preparation and perfection of property title documents – leases, Deed of Assignment and contract of sale.
- Maintain all legal documentation within the department ensuring proper filing and completeness.
- Follow up with relevant departments on outstanding legal documents/responses.
- Drafting and Vetting of all legal documents and co-ordination with lawyers to ensure documents are legally sound.
- Management of all Consultant Contracts. (B). Liaison with Government Offices and Consultant Lawyers.
- Visit to competent Authorities for documentations, follow up and keeping the record of the same.
Handling of court cases:
- Preparation of case drafts.
- Coordination and briefing/discussion with the lawyers for legal cases and to negotiate the fee structure.
- Coordinate and make arrangements required for arbitration proceedings and provide the required documents to appointed advocate for proceeding of arbitration.
- Follow up with advocates for updating of legal cases.
- Follow up with concerned officers of the company to attend the court cases.
- Attend the meetings /conferences as and when required /directed by superiors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a BL / LLB / JD, LLM Degree with 8-10 years work experience.

5.) Inventory / Warehouse Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking stock received from suppliers that they meet standards and specification, checking the supply invoices and waybills / delivery notes to purchase orders and physical stock.
- Covering all aspects of our lubricant production.
- Processing of all production certifications e.g. SONCAP, MANCAP, NAFDAC RENEWAL e.t.c.
- Ensure effective relationship with our production and packaging vendors/external contacts in line with Agreements, weekly reconciliation and regular visitation to address issues:
- Sourcing and placing orders for caps, labels, bottles, kegs, drums, e.t.c. from various packaging vendors for our various lubricant brands.
- Receiving and processing stock requisition from stock requesting department and preparation of waybills.
- Preparing the inventories for transfers to locations or deliveries to customers and receiving signed waybills from locations and customers as evidence of receipt of stock.
- Maintaining the manual stock records – bin cards for each stock item and stock register and checking that such manual records are maintained at locations, using computerized systems for entering and maintaining stock records.
- Periodic checks on status of stock, reporting on damages, spoilt stock, e.t.c.
- Following up with our different locations company-wide and receiving status report on stock, damages, spoilt stock and issuing a consolidated report.
- Preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, e.t.c. and getting necessary approval for stock adjustments company-wide.
- Handling stock returns-inwards from locations and customers based on management’s acceptance, communicating same to Accounts and ensuring that credit notes have been raised and posted to appropriate customer and location ledgers.
- Reconcile Vendor stock balances to Vendor ledger balances and advise on appropriate payments to vendors to ensure effective working capital management
- Undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members and locations after issuing notice of month-end inventory stock-taking.
- Render the following stock reports:
- Consolidated Weekly/Monthly physical stock reports –Head Office and locations.
- Obtain weekly/monthly physical stock reports.
- Weekly/Monthly Raw material reports.
- Consolidated weekly stock movement reports – Head Office and other locations. Obtain weekly stock movement reports from locations.
- Accessing stock for obsolescence and advising on discontinued production of obsolete stock.
- Maintain files of head office inventory documents and ensuring that same are maintained at locations.
- Monthly reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the books and system and head office and obtaining same from locations through issuing discrepancy reports to be addressed by locations.
- Oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse.
- Supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily. Involvement in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking.
- Ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory.
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
- Make necessary input to inventory management-planning and control policies covering critical inventory tasks to ensure that correct and complete amount of items are in stock.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing inventory operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
- Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for delivery.
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Lead, guide, and train location staff/student employees and interns performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of above personnel.
- Undertake other assignments as may be directed by the management.
Qualifications
- B.Sc (Hons) / HND in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Candidate should be proficient in the use of the QuickBooks Accounting software.
- To be familiar with common Accounting packages e.g. QuickBooks.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft packages especially Excel as an accounting tool.
