We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Project Manager, Academics

Location: Lagos

What you should have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong project management skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Google Apps, AI software is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking) and the ability to multitask
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience working in project management, education industry preferred.

You are also:

  • A detailed doer – You have a track record of getting things done. You’re organized and responsive. You take ownership of every idea you touch and execute it to a fine level of detail, setting targets, engaging others, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. 2.) Data Analyst, Measurement and Evaluation (M&E)

Location: Lagos

What You Should Have

  • High data literacy and a strong background in econometrics and/or statistics.
  • Previous experience in an academic or applied setting, such as being an analyst, research assistant, data manager, or consultant. Experience in data cleaning, analysis, and/or visualization.
  • A high level of proficiency with Stata or R, and Excel.  Any other data analysis software or coding language is a plus. Experience with survey software like Qualtrics, SurveyCTO, or Google Forms is also a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree (or its equivalent) or Masters degree – in a relevant academic discipline, for example (but not limited to) Economics, Public or Education Policy, or Statistics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas for non-technical audiences – you will need effective verbal and written communication skills to provide valuable insights and research reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Belief in data-driven decision making.
  • Flexible and loves to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work with teams whose members are based in different locations around the world, which might require occasional flexibility in scheduling meetings to accommodate different time zones and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex topics
  • Familiarity with issues related to the education sector a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Proven ability to prioritise and organise own workload effectively and efficiently and meet deadlines
  • A robust, confident, can do attitude.

3.) Policy Writer, Measurement and Evaluation (M&E)

Location: Lagos

What You Should Have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science, Humanities, Literature, Writing, Editing, Copyediting, Journalism, Science Communications, or similar field. A graduate degree in either an education or writing-related field is desirable.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience where writing entailed a significant portion of the job responsibilities. Writing experience for an education or development org is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research. At a minimum, the candidate should have a frank openness to learn and develop some expertise in this area, but the ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting and describing research methods and results.
  • Outstanding skills in persuasive writing and the ability to present technical ideas in a concise manner for a nontechnical audience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to work with teams whose members are based in different locations around the world, which might require occasional flexibility in scheduling meetings to accommodate different time zones and deadlines
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex topics
  • Familiarity with issues related to the education sector a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Proven ability to prioritise and organise own workload effectively and efficiently and meet deadlines
