We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Project Officer – Health Care in Danger (HCiD)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Education and Experience Required
- University Degree in Social Sciences, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable role with a reputed humanitarian organization.
- Strong knowledge of Protection issues and multi-disciplinary aspects of the HCiD highly desirable.
- Knowledge of applicable legal and policy frameworks linked to HCiD
- Experience in engaging with medical, security, political, humanitarian, and civil society actors.
- Advance knowledge of written and spoken English, Hausa and other regional languages of North-East Nigeria desirable
- Applicants should have a Nigerian nationality or hold a working permit.
Desired profile and Skills:
- High computer literacy (soft & hard skills).

2.) Health Field Officer II
Location: Adamawa
Education and Experience Required
- Medical Doctor or University degree in Nurse/Midwife; registered with strong 5 years’ experience in Public Health and Nutrition.
- Paediatric and nutritional clinical experience an advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English and knowledge of local language (Hausa) is an advantage.
- Very good understanding of culture/health structure in Northeast
- Applicants should have a Nigerian nationality or hold a working permit.
Desired profile and Skills:
- Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office software skills (outlook, Excel Power Point, Word).
- Ability to work within a team and experience in dealing with health authorities and MoH staff.

3.) Protection Field Officer II
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Education and Experience Required
- University Degree in the field of Law or Political Science or similar field.
- 5-6 years’ experience in Protection or close field with good understanding of relevant national and international humanitarian, human rights instruments at the national and international level, national laws and procedures, and government structure
- Relevant work on open-source information/research on conflict environments and the impact of affected people.
- Experience in use of open-source information and analysis techniques to support human rights/humanitarian work and research.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and Hausa
- Applicants should have a Nigerian nationality or hold a working permit.
Desired Profile and Skills:
- Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office software skills (outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word).
- Excellent analytical skills (comprehensive analysis taking into account all possible aspects), ability and skills to summarize information in a clear and concise manner, and good writing skills.

4.) Weapon Contamination Field Officer (WeC FO)
Location: Adamawa
Education and Experience Required
- Relevant Degree from a university
- Minimum of 3-5 years overall professional experience in a related field.
- Work experience in the Humanitarian Mine Action Sector is an asset.
- Academically or professionally proficient in a Risk Awareness-related subject.
- Proven experience in data compilation and analysis, capacity building, reporting, and external representation.
- Previous experience with the ICRC or other humanitarian agency desired.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Hausa.
Desired Profile and Skills:
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work within a multicultural team and to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally.
