We have been visible in Borno Adamawa and Yobe states implementing projects in Education, Protection (Child /GBV), WaSH, Nutrition, Empowerment/Livelihood, Governance, and Peace Building. 1.) Finance Officer
Location: Borno
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance / Accounts or equivalent experience
- ACA / MBA / CA, ICAN, ANAN or equivalent is a plus
- Minimum of three (3) years accounting
- Strong technical experience in book-keeping, accounting, and financial management
- Understanding of accounting issues in the charity/NGO sector.

2.) Consortium Manager
Location: Borno
Key Competencies
- Relevant University Degree or Higher Education preferable in Social Studies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in programmatic implementation in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Technical experience in managing (multisectoral) grants
- Experience working in complex and volatile contexts
- Budget management and monitoring experience
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Experience working with IDPs or returnees is a plus.
- Knowledge of Nigerian Humanitarian Fund (NHF) reporting and respective donor regulations is a plus.
- Experience with external representation.
- Experience working in complex emergencies, andvolatile contexts.
- Proven experience in project cycle management and grant management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and diplomatic skills, including the professional credibility to provide coordination and sometimes guidance to member organizations.

3.) Protection Officer
Location: Borno
Slots: 2 Openings
Job Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and equivalent in any Social Sciences-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the area of general protection with an NGO, displacement, including experience in working directly with Field Offices.
- Good knowledge and understanding of DO NO HARM principles and established international child protection standards.
- Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to details.
- Experience working in emergency settings (deep field), particularly in Northeast Nigeria and good knowledge of key stakeholders in the area are desirable.
- Good knowledge of protection and Human Rights Law and ability to apply the relevant protection principles. Excellent legal research, analytical skills and drafting.

4.) Education Officer
Location: Borno
Job Essentials
- B.Sc / BA /B.Ed HND/NCE in Education, Social Sciences, or equivalent field experience
- At least 3 years of program experience, education in humanitarian education programs various experience in capacity building/training facilitation is desirable.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in remote areas, and achallenging work environment with minimal direct supervision.
- Willingness to work flexibly and professionally in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Key Competencies:
- Understanding the education context in northeastern Nigeria, with specific experience in Borno state preferred.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Do-No Harm principles and established International child protection standards.
- Experience mobilizing communities and interacting with government, coordination and, LGE.
- Experience with non-formal and formal education and mainstreaming.
- Experience implementing the NHF/the ECHO project is an added advantage.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English, and local language both written and oral is required.
