Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) is a regional non-Government Organization established in April, 2003 but registered in July 2006 with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria.AYGF has an operational base in British Columbia Canada and Nigeria (Kogi State, Niger State, Ogun State, Katsina State, and FCT- Abuja).

Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:
1.) Finance Manager
Location: Edo
Education and Experience / Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (Accounting professional qualification is essential) with minimum of 5 years of experience;
- At least 8 years of experience in a bi-lateral or multi-lateral agency financed project in Nigeria (or an African country);
- Knowledge and expertise in the field of project preparation, commercial negotiations, financial management, internal controls/systems development, accounting, auditing, and reporting; and
- Ability to solve problems efficaciously by exercising good judgment will be an asset.
- Preferrably should reside in Edo state or be willing to relocate.
Skills / Competencies:
- Strong management, communication, and negotiation skills, and the ability to collect data from multiple partners.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite such as excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of local financial and accounting systems preferred.
- Knowledge of donor regulations, policies, and procedures and familiarity with grants management.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have;
- A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- At least 3years of finance experience in donor-funded projects.
- Preferrably candidate should reside in Edo State or shoud be willing to relocate.

3.) Resource Mobilization Officer
Location: Abuja
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 3 – 5 years work experience.
- Strong Proposal writing skills.

4.) Head of Operations (Finance, Procurement / Logistics, Human Resources / Administrative)
Location: Abuja
Essential Requirements
- A University Degree in any relevant area and post-graduate qualification in Business Studies, Operations Management, or a related area of study
- 6– 10 years relevant work experience.
- Significant management-level experience in a post with operational and administrative responsibility
- Strong track record of impact and success, with sound financial abilities with a proven record of budget management
- Proven experience in staff management and influencing people
- Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with a variety of nationalities and personalities at all levels within the Unit
- Enthusiastic, energetic, diplomatic, tactful, flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated with a heads-up, hands-on management style and ability to lead by example
- Ability to multi-task, manage a large workload and adapt to new situations quickly
- Ability to make tough decisions when required
- Willingness to live in a rural setting with limited facilities
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an NGO sector and familiarity with the sector’s operational framework.
