Auto Body Technician – LMIA Approval

We are a Canadian immigration company partnering with various workshops seeking skilled Automotive Body Repairers/Collision Repair Technicians to join their Canadian team. Candidates without work authorization are welcome to apply, as we have an LMIA approved and are willing to assist with the work permit process.

The ideal candidate is willing to relocate to Canada, with potential placements in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Candidates should have expertise in auto restoration, vehicle maintenance, heavy collision repair, welding, dent repair, door panel replacement, and more.

Job Description:

· Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed

· Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components

· Assist in instructing apprentices

· File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired

· Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers

· Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place

· Repair or replace interior components

· Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs

· Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling

· Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams

· Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

· Clean and maintain workspace

· Professionalism in customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate: Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: auto body repair: 2 years (required)

Language:English fluently (required)
