We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team. We make decorative concrete mantels and fire pits at our factory in Richmond.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled mold maker / carpenter who enjoys creating things in a dynamic environment.
Experience in a foreman or lead hand position is required.
Experience with model & mold making and concrete casting is required with a strong attention to detail.
You must be comfortable to speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise production crew and maintain schedule and quality control
– Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of work area and equipment
– Assist in the operation of equipment and ensure all duties are performed in a safe manner

– Build models for mold making
– Pour and maintain rubber molds & mother molds
– Build and maintain concrete forms

– Cast concrete using pouring and hand-lay up techniques
– Utilize power tools and hand tools to build and modify products

Skills:
– Ability to lift 50kg
– Experience with making rubber moulds & casting materials
– Experience in a wood shop
– Experience with concrete form-work

– Able to read and interpret shop drawings to determine specifications and calculate job requirements

– Excellent attention to detail and desire to problem-solve
– Strong time-management ability

– Strong communication skills
– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
– Team player and able to work with minimal supervision
– Safety conscious

This is a full-time position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00-$72,800.00 per year

Additional pay: Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement: French not required
