We are recruiting to fill the following positions below: – APPLICATIONS CLOSED
1.) Account Graduate Trainee
Location: Delta
Description
- Manage the account payables function in Metwest Steel Limited ’s corporate Head Office.
- Analyze and maintain account payable performance metrics, service relationships and communications across departments in Steel Industry.
- Provide appropriate responses to suppliers’ queries/ issues and escalate unresolved issues to the Head, Head Office Accounting, as required.
- Perform reconciliation of suppliers’ sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
- Recommend updates to existing invoice processing policies and procedures.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all invoices received from suppliers/ vendors.
- Review staff advance requests and ensure requisitions are duly authorized by relevant department/ unit heads.

2.) Account Executive
Location: Delta
Description

3.) Mechanical Fitter
Location: Delta
Job Description
- Measuring and constructing components out of raw materials through cutting, shaping, and grinding.
- Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
- Complying with operations, safety, and maintenance procedures.
- Understanding and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
- Operating specialised equipment.
- Performing regular maintenance and repair work and conducting diagnostic tests to determine the root of problems.
- Monitoring the fabrication and assembly process.
- Replacing damaged or defective components.
- Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.

4.) Barbwire Machine Operator
Location: Delta
Responsibilities
- Operates machine that automatically twists sharp barbs between strands of wire to form barbed-wire fencing materials: Mounts reels of smooth wire on feedrack of machine, using hoist.
- Butt-welds end of feed wire to wire in machines, and to repair breaks in wire.
- Starts machine and observes counter on machine to verify required length of barbed wire on roll.
- Stops machine and removes pin to drop roll of barbed wire to floor.
- Cuts wire with cutter.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with relevant work experience.
