**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. As an Auto Body Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

**Responsibilities:**

– Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and framework straightening

– Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces.

– Collaborate with estimators and technicians to understand repair and paint requirements.

– Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns in a spray booth.

– Mix paints to match color specifications using paint mixing systems or software.

– Safely handle heavy lifting and maneuver vehicles within the shop

**Experience:**

– Proven experience in automotive repair or auto body work

– Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in the trade

– Knowledge of mechanical systems within vehicles

– Ability to lift heavy objects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

– Previous experience as a mechanic is a plus

Experience: auto body repair: 4 years (required)
