The NIS has officially announced a new update on the recent news regarding the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment exercise. The commission has denied being aware of sending messages across to the prospective candidates in regards to the agency hiring applicants, saying that such messages did not come from the Nigeria Immigration Service Board.
A representative from the Nigeria Immigration Service, Anthony Akuneme, made it clear that the management of NIS did not send any information regarding the recruitment exercise and also stressed that the request for FIRS/Tax Clearance from applicants will not be made by the NIS.

Akuneme also said that he would reassure the general public that all vital information about the NIS recruitment process will be shared through the Service’s official handles on social media platforms and other verified channels.
NIS Required Academic Qualifications.
All the qualified candidates are advise to apply. Military personnel or paramilitary individuals who is currently serving in any of the Nigerian Armed Forces Services to civil institutions, on the other hand, will be considered.

- Applicant must be a Nigerian by birth.
- Applicant must not be less than 18 years old and not more than 35 years old
- Applicant must be 1.7 meters tall for males and 1.64 meters tall for females.
