Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in RAN(2G,3G,4G ) and LTE domain

3.) Senior Datacenter Consultant
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Assisting Huawei Southern Africa region customers on Data Center planning, design and implementation, these customers include but not limited to telco operators, colocation providers, governments, banks, etc.
- Actively engage with customer CXOs and teams to understand their business requirements and reflect these requirements to demands for ICT infrastructure including the IT, CT (Communication Technology) resources as well as Data Center facilities.
- In addition to Data Center global trend and regional market insight, the candidate will also conduct detailed analysis of the existing Data Center of the customer, and provide assessment report, gap analysis and evolution/transformation planning recommendation for customer to consider and adopt.
- The candidate will also follow up with customer and Huawei teams to make sure the successful implementation of the Data Center projects (new built or modernization).
- Provide in depth analysis of the business strategies and pain points to enable product managers and sales teams to plan requirements accordingly and also to the customers Good understanding of technology road maps and industry trends with emphasis in the telecom and IT industry.
- Coordinate support of change management resources in partnership with electrical and mechanical operations teams· Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.
Educational Background and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommnication or related qualification will be advantageous
- More than 10 years of experience involved in a large complex datacenter project
- Registration with datacenter institutions will be advantageous
- Team, organizational and planning skills, as well as stringent time management skills to balance workloads in a complex and dynamic environment
- Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects
- Prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product· Ability to consistently deliver results despite competing priorities and distraction

4.) Senior Optical Engineer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in reviewing solutions for key projects in the optical network domain
- Identify risks, and tackle ITR problems, provide support for frontline optical network project delivery and coordinate related organization and departments to ensure successful front line project delivery
- Act as the project TD/TL, participate in onsite/remote assurance of global key projects, support customer requirement communication, solution design, delivery implementation, and technical issue resolution
- Summarise and extract typical common issues in a timely manner, and drive continuous improvement of the product industry
- Participate in the delivery assurance process and standard design of optical network projects, continuously optimise the optical network delivery assurance system based on digital technologies, and improve the digital delivery assurance capability.
Educational Background and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or any related qualification will be considered
- Have a basic command of optical network communication principles
- Basic command of optical network networking architecture and network planning principles
- Have the capability of analyzing and handling optical network problems and optical network service solution architecture.
- Have general knowledge of any of the following product models: OSN 9800, OSN 1800, OSN 7500, and NCE-T, be able to operate and configure products
- Experience with WDM/SDH/ASON product knowledge and commissioning and migration, Huawei or other vendor experience is preferred
- Have a strong desire to learn about new products and technologies and have strong learning ability;
- Have a good command of optical network commissioning technologies.
- Be able to master and use DWDM network planning, design, and delivery tools.
