1.) Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant
Location: Benue
Qualification / Experience
- HND / NCE / ND in Social Science, pure sciences, or Arts with at least two years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in an OVC organization.
- Proficiency in data processing and analysis is a key competency for the position.
- Must have great speed on data entry.

2.) Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Location: Benue
- The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will ensure that the project is on track and achieving its goals. The Officer is responsible for designing, monitoring and reporting project results, working with the relevant M&E systems and ensuring that filing process are in place and programme data is well secured.
- He/She shall provide direct support for real-time reporting of all program activities in the implementation of the APIN aCARES OVC Project in Benue State.
- He/She shall provide relevant data presentation for FRED in meetings with the donor (APIN) and other stakeholders in the state as regards program monitoring and evaluation, data collection/collation and reporting.
- He/She shall perform the duties listed below and any other duties required in course of program implementation.
Responsibilities
- Provide Supports to the PM to Monitor and ensure daily and weekly implementation and documentation of activities on the aCARES OVC Project in the approved forms or tools by APIN.
- Provide Supports and supervise to ensure daily, weekly and monthly data entry into NOMIS Database.
- Work with the case managers and Health Facilities, to identify and ensure the enrolment of beneficiaries and saturation of enrolment line list in accordance across the enrolment streams.
- Carry out periodic analysis, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as may be required in order to make projections on programme implementation status, challenges/lapses, proffer remediation plan and monitor implementation status.
- Provide supervisory support to ensure daily, weekly and quarterly update of assessment/reassessment forms, careplan as well as careplan achievement checklist
- Support the PM to generate the necessary data for quarterly technical brief and success stories submission
- Ensure the proper documentation of lesson learnt and success stories in the Program
- Ensure prompt submission of all data reporting templates including the CSO Score Card, Care and Support Templates, reporting and custom indicators templates as well as other templates as may be requested by the funders/FRED from time to time.
- Work closely with POs and Case Managers to provide technical guidance in setting programme targets and tracking achievement of targets during the course of the program.
- Conduct regular monitoring and program evaluation visits to communities as stated in the year workplan.
- Carry out periodic data triangulation and DQAs to ensure data concurrence between the relevant DCTs/Source documents and the NOMIS database.
- Support the POs to carry out periodic folder audit and household verifications.

3.) Program Officer
Location: Benue
Overview
- The Program Officer Stable/Schooled will provide technical support in ensuring the smooth implementation of activities on the aCARES OVC project in Benue State.
- He/She shall help in the design, supervision and the implementation of activities that will ensure household stability and improvement of household economies.
- He/She shall also help in the design, supervision and implementation of activities that will ensure that all children and adolescents between 0-17 receive the age appropriate education and skills necessary for them to grow and become responsible adults. He/She shall perform the following specific duties
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Case Managers to identify and assess the stable and education needs of the vulnerable children.
- Provide technical support to Case Managers in the application of child status index/assessment forms and design of careplan targeting the child’s needs under the stable and schooled domains.
- Provide technical support to the case managers to ensure effective stable and schooled service delivery.
- Guide and provide supportive supervision to Case Managers to guide the selection of beneficiaries and conduct of livelihood activities such as Financial Education, IGA support, Cash transfers, vocational training, VSLA meetings, and communal farms as well as gardening.
- Supervise the attendance of vocational training by beneficiaries and their participation in livelihood activities
- Provide technical support in grouping the selected beneficiaries for livelihood interventions in cohorts in line with National OVC guidelines
- Work closely with the community and other stakeholders in the community during the course of the program.
- Provide technical support to CSOs to ensure proper step down of trainings to Community Case Managers as required.
- Guide the Case Managers in the assessment of the educational and developmental needs of the Vulnerable Children
- Profile all out of school children for possible enrolment/re-enrolment into the required level of education
- Guide/support the Case managers to conduct quarterly education performance assessment for all children in school
- Work with the CQIT to Solicit for school fees waiver, provision of educational materials and implementation of block grant to facilitate the enrolment of VC into school.
- Provide detailed activity and monthly narrative reports on all stable and educational interventions
