1. Director Financial Management, FIFM

The Complex

  • The Vice Presidency for Finance (FIVP) oversees the financial management of the Bank Group. This encompasses the Bank Group’s treasury activities including borrowings from capital markets and investment activities; financial control functions including financial reporting and loan administration; strategic resource mobilization and the strengthening of the non-statutory financial resources and instruments; the overall asset/liability and treasury risk management for the Bank Group.
  • The Vice Presidency for Finance is also responsible for the development of and training on the financial products of the Bank Group. In addition, the Administrator of the Staff Retirement Plan (SRP) reports to the Vice-President Finance.

Selection Criteria

  • Hold at least a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computational Methods Actuarial Science or other related fields.
  • Have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience with heavy emphasis in the areas of ALM, Financial Risk and Treasury Risk Management or in the Financial Services Sector, including 5 years at a managerial level.
  • Certification in professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of financial risk management and Asset and Liability Management concepts and principles, managerial, organizational, strategy, financial modelling and systems, and other issues

The Complex

The Complex

  • The Vice-Presidency, Human Resources and Corporate Services Complex ensures the delivery of efficient, people-centered, client-oriented, corporate services to ensure overall institutional effectiveness in all aspects of the Bank’s corporate services.
  • The complex leads efforts to ensure the competitiveness of the Bank as the employer of choice and is responsible for providing leadership in the formulation and implementation of Bank’s strategies on people, IT, general services and institutional procurements, language services, business continuity, and health and safety strategies.

Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant, practical experience in administrative work, preferably in Human Resources Management or Social Welfare environment.
  • Honesty and sensitivity to client’s needs.
  • Ability to communicate with clients.
  • Possess problem solving skill & Client Orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, meet strict deadlines and work in team
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment as a team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to be discrete and maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French or English, with a good working knowledge of the other language.
  • Competence with standard Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel Access, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP HR & FI (GL, Accounts payable and Receivable) is an advantage
