Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and logistics. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and business processes, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems to optimise stock control and minimise waste.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely transportation and delivery of goods.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee the maintenance of equipment, including forklifts, ensuring all machinery is in safe working order.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline processes and improve service levels.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics for senior management review.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and transportation management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage teams effectively.
• Familiarity with business processes related to supply chain management and logistics operations.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies within a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
