At Lidl, our warehouses are the backbone of our business, helping our stores run smoothly. As a Warehouse Cleaner, you’ll be a vital part of our team – ensuring our warehouse is spotless throughout the day. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

You’ll report to the Distribution & Recycling Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you’ll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy – from the loading bays to the picking slots.

In return, we’ll give you a competitive hourly rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, with an additional £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What you’ll do

– Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
– Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
– Ensuring ‘clean as you go’ stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
– Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
– Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
– Confidently operate cleaning machinery
– Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times

What you’ll need

– Have a keen eye and attention to detail
– Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)
– Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking) if necessary
