About St. Joseph’s

With a long history of providing care and instruction, St. Joseph’s School is now a stand-alone charity with its own Trustee Board. The Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary founded St. Joseph’s in 1916, and in 1950 it relocated to its present location in Cranleigh. The Order no longer governs the school, but its values of justice, compassion, and faith endure in St. Joseph’s dedication to fostering and strengthening each and every student.

In 1984, St. Joseph’s, which had previously been a boys’ school, expanded its Extended and Further Education programs and began accepting girls. The Chadwyck-Healey family motto, CredeMihi, or “Believe in Me,” still serves as motivation for the school community today. The school location, which was formerly a part of the ancient Wyphurst Estate, has retained much of its original charm.

Located in the lovely town of Cranleigh, Surrey | £24,854–£25,742 + £1,000 Senior £26,183–£28,758 Retention Bonus

Full-time (37 hours a week), with weekends off; part-time is also an option.

• Assisting with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking, and shopping

Crucial Information to Know:

• Because of our semi-rural location, you will need a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
