Duties

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live independently, safely, and with dignity. You’ll be working in a person-centered environment where your contribution truly matters. Responsibilities include:

• Providing daily support with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Promoting independence, confidence, and well-being
• Supporting individuals in accessing the community and engaging in activities
• Following individualized care plans and behavior support strategies
• Assisting with medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Building trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to varying needs and routines
• Strong communication and observational skills
• A proactive, empathetic, and person-centered approach to care
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and lone working
• An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service is ideal)
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship)

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: £12.30 to £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: Part-time
