Job Overview
To join a rapidly expanding team that is revolutionising the clinical trials sector, we are seeking a motivated and astute Sales Account Executive. By finding new business prospects, fostering client relationships, and managing intricate sales cycles in the pharmaceutical, health technology, and medical research industries, you will be important in increasing growth in this position.
To provide innovative SaaS solutions to the market, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and sales leadership. This position has the opportunity to have a significant effect if you have a strong interest in healthcare innovation, tech-enabled transformation, and consultative selling.
Duties
- Find, interact with, and close deals with potential customers in clinical research, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.
- By qualifying leads and advancing opportunities through the funnel, you can create and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Present company value, conduct contract negotiations, and give customised product demonstrations to close agreements.
- Develop enduring relationships with clients by spotting upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- While working with the management team on projections and strategy, track and report on important sales KPIs and performance.
- To guarantee a flawless client experience, collaborate with the technical and support teams.
- To increase brand recognition and lead generation, go to conferences and events in your sector.
- Keep abreast of client demands, competitor movements, and market developments to guide your sales approach.
Requirements
- Three or more years of B2B sales or customer success experience in the clinical trials, pharmaceutical, medtech, or health tech sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in selling corporate software or SaaS.
- Knowledge of clinical trials in the field of biological sciences.
- A history of closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals and hitting or beyond sales goals.
- Strong presenting, negotiating, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable using cloud-based systems (like Apple and Google Suite), sales tools, and CRMs.
- A degree in communications, STEM, business, or a similar discipline.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with excellent multitasking and organising skills.
