Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Retail Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail store at Watford . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing team performance, driving sales, and ensuring the store is well-organised and efficiently run.

Duties

• Supervise and manage store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance.
• Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting on sales performance.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience.
• Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers and suppliers.
• Inventory: Maintaining inventory levels, ordering new stock, and taking inventory of goods for sale.
• Store maintenance: Ensuring the store is clean and orderly, and that merchandise is displayed properly.
• Sales: Achieving sales targets, documenting and reporting sales information, and developing marketing strategies.
• Budget: Managing the budget and ensuring resources are allocated.properly•Procedures: Implementing and maintaining procedures to prevent theft and wastage.
• Shift schedules: Developing shift schedules that comply with labor code•Employee morale: Boosting employee morale.
• Market trends: Monitoring market trends to offer popular products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a retail environment.
