Job Overview
Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, providing a trusted service to more than 1700 veterinary practices – from dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. You will be joining a dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, and Receptionists in our 24/7 emergency and specialty referral Manchester Hospital. The Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital in Manchester provides both a first-class referral service and an out-of-hours emergency service for veterinary practices in and around the Manchester area.

Duties

• First point of contact:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergencies, whether through calls or in-person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments, as well as handling financial transactions.
• Administration:
  • Manage administrative duties in the clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients en route or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support:
  • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.60 an hour

Schedule:

• Week 1: Thursday 13:00- 20:00 and Friday 12:00 -20:00
• Week 2: Monday 11:00 – 18:00 and Thursday 13:00 20:00
• Week 3: Monday 11:00-19:00, Friday 13:00 – 20:00, and Saturday 11:00 – 19:00
• Week 4: Wednesday 13:00-19:00, Thursday 11:00-19:00, and Friday 13:00-20:00
