Job Overview

A motivated, accurate, and enthusiastic chemist is needed to join our team at our online pharmacy. Our procedures and processes will be taught to you. Experience in a care facility would be helpful, but not necessary.

Duties

Pharmacy Work Responsibilities:

• Gives patients their prescription drugs.
• Verifies the safety and correctness of patients’ prescriptions, making sure no medications are incompatible with one another.
• Verifies the pharmacy’s adherence to the law by checking labelling, dosages, and protocols.
• Keeps regulated substances safe and stocked to ensure adherence to rules.
• Oversees and instructs other pharmacy employees, including assistants and technicians.
• Discusses prescriptions with physicians
• Responds to enquiries concerning prescription medications and counsels patients on how to take them.
• Talks with patients about the negative effects and possible combinations of medications.
• Provides a range of wellness and health screening services, including diabetes screening, immunisations, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Oversees the budget, personnel, and inventory of the pharmacy.
• Keeps up with the most recent laws, advancements, and pharmaceutical items.
• Uses a pharmacy computer system to keep track of inventory and preserve records.
• Instructs other medical experts on how to prescribe different medications.

Qualifications and Job Skills for Pharmacists:

Strong knowledge of and adherence to prescription drug laws and regulations, outstanding memory, interpersonal skills, clear verbal communication, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of math and science. Computer proficiency, supervisory abilities, the capacity to collaborate closely with physicians and nurses, Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities, analytical skills, and multitasking abilities

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: £55,000.00 to £65,000.00 annually

Expected hours: 9 hours daily, Monday through Friday

• The store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday
• The store is closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. On weekends, the store is closed
