Duties
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
- Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared according to food hygiene regulations.
- Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean to the standard for food hygiene.
- Under the guidance of the head cook, maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
- Being aware of the varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents
About you:
You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high-quality service. We need someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.
Desired but not essential:
- Food and hygiene certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role, however, training will be provided
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 10 hours per week
