Working Pattern:
- 3 full days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), or
- 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday
About the Role
A leading UK law firm based in the Northwest is looking for a Part-Time IT Support Technician to join their team in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IT support experience to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment with flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to IT support issues via phone, email, or in person
- Provide first-line support and set up devices for new users
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems and software
- Monitor and maintain internal networks and cloud-based systems
- Maintain software audit records and the VOIP phone system
- Assist with legal software implementation and office IT setups
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office
- Previous IT Helpdesk or support experience preferred
- Understanding of TCP/IP, Windows Server, Ms Exchange, VPN
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Awareness of GDPR and Equality Standards
