Join our dedicated facilities team and help keep our college clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to carry out general cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, and communal areas. You’ll take pride in maintaining high hygiene standards and working as part of a supportive team. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential—full training will be provided. If you’re dependable, punctual, and take pride in a job well done, we’d love to hear from you.

We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus, Manchester, to join our Facilities Department as a Cleaner on a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week, 06:00 – 09:00) basis.

Who are TMC?

The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19-year-olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. Duties

• General cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, and communal areas.
• Maintaining high hygiene standards and working as part of a supportive team

Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Cleaning experience
• Hold or work towards the British Institute of Cleaning Sciences (BICs) or similar
• Manual Handling training
• Risk assessment training
• COSHH training

Job Type: Facilities, Permanent, Part-time

Pay: £12.60 an hour

Expected hours: 15 hours per week
