Why is the role important?
The Careline Operator provides a valuable service for customers through a 24-hour social alarm monitoring and mobile response service. This role gives you the opportunity to be a part of making a difference to customers health and happiness by giving them the support they need to remain independent in their own homes.
What’s involved?
• Take emergency social alarm calls from elderly/vulnerable customers and respond within our policy and procedure framework.
• Answer calls from customers and respond to their queries by delivering solutions to meet their needs.
• Provide cover to the Elderly Services Officers by responding to emergency calls and taking appropriate action to assist customers and other agencies. This includes lifting and attending to personal care.
• Provide cover for the out of hours messaging and CCTV reviewing services for the organisation and external organisations.
• Complete relevant associated paperwork ensuring the information is accurately recorded.

• Ensure all Health & Safety issues identified are reported and appropriate learning where required is shared.
