Internships at Barclays

Why the Investment Banking Summer Intern programme?

You will collaborate with our Coverage and Mergers and Acquisitions departments as a Banking intern. Here, you will answer the most strategic questions for our clients. You will provide comprehensive, structured solutions to a wide range of corporate clients, assisting them in achieving their objectives, be they risk management, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, or structured solutions.

You will learn the art and science of transaction execution during the summer as a Summer Analyst. You will work on both actual deals and deal proposals as a part of one of our product, industry, or geographic groups.

Whom are we trying to find?

• You must be in your penultimate or final year of your degree, in any discipline, to be eligible for this program.
• You should ideally be curious and have a strong interest in business and finance. You may demonstrate your resourcefulness, collaboration, excitement, and entrepreneurial spirit by participating in extracurricular activities. These are qualities that we value.
• The job title for this position specifies the place where you will be stationed. Your base location will be the same as it was during your internship if you are accepted into our graduate program.
